TFM’s Annual Plant Sales
The Friends of Manito holds two annual plant sales to raise funds that support Manito Park. These sales include a spectacular selection of perennials and house plants.
Our 2026 plant sales will be held on June 6 (8 am - 3 pm) and August 15 (8 am -3 pm).

Check Out Last Year’s Lineup!
Below is a list of cultivars we hope to sell at one or both of our plant sales. Every year we offer new cultivars, award winners, and past favorites.
About a week before each sale, the list will be updated and finalized.

Typical Event Details
When you visit a TFM Plant Sale, you will see the plants on tables in the parking lot just east of Gaiser Conservatory.
Plants are arranged by botanical name within group: Sun, Grasses, Shrubs/Vines, Edibles, and Shade. Tropical plants (house plants) are arranged randomly.
After you have made your selections, volunteers will count them and give you a tally sheet. You will take that tally sheet to one of the cashiers who will total your bill and accept payment. We accept cash, checks, Master Card and Visa, debit or credit. Just a reminder, there is NO sales tax and TFM members get a 10% discount. Memberships are also for sale at the cashier.
You can park in the lot just west of the park office or along the road by Ferris Perennial Garden, which is also 21st Ave. You may leave your shopping cart along the road next to Gaiser Conservatory, then drive your car around and load it.
Pot Recycling
Do you have used plastic pots that you wish to recycle? The Friends of Manito can use them if they are unbroken and black or green.
House Plants
We always have a great selection of house plants, as well as succulents. Click the button below to see some of our favorites.
